Our verdict (October 2026): not recommended for finance professionals right now. Outlier's only finance role is Personal Finance Expert for the US (up to $90 an hour), plus a version for India. On 22 October 2026 its public list of open roles had no finance roles; the roles it did list paid $8 to $35 an hour. We'll update this page if that changes.

Outlier is an AI training platform run by Scale AI. Experts write and review answers to train AI models, paid by the hour.
What does Outlier offer finance professionals?
- One finance role: Personal Finance Expert, for the US, up to $90 an hour. A version for India pays up to $53 an hour.
- No roles for accounting, audit, investment or corporate finance that we could find.
- You start with skill screenings instead of an AI interview.
